OpenEye/BMS system is a rebuilt integration platform for automation and protections building systems. It enables to manage with air-condition, ventilation, heating and lighting systems and others and also to monitor security responsible maintenance systems within the building.
All supervised resources can be integrated and presented within common maps giving a complete and unified insight to the operators to the building operation conditions.

Thanks to modern Java technology appliance, solution characterize with rebuild reconfiguration easiness, that is important within extensive and often changing intelligent building's environment. Simultaneously both central system part, like consoles, can operate within each system platform, giving operators' possibility of remote building management from each place. Possibility of particular system components operation increase its reliability and enable to reduce resources unattainable time.

MEDIATION WITH RESOURCES

OpenEye/BMS system integrates devices and automation systems that communicate in standard EIB, LON, Profibus, Ethernet, and also anti-burglary systems, access control systems, fire warning systems. In case of more demanding environments it is also possible integration of not typical protection and supervisory systems, including also computer network management TCP/IP.
Thanks to universal construction OpenEye/BMS system matches easy to the new standards and communications technologies. Such functionality extension is realized by added/ configurated additional translator module and don't require nor conception nor constructive changes within operating yet part of the system.
In case of bigger environments there is a possibility of mediation layer dispersion and mediators taking out appliance, communicating with central system part by the standard network protocols. Such possibility gives especial advantages in case of huge or created from many buildings objects, with huge distances between resources and management system central part. Remote resources communicate then with remote mediator, that attached to system by protocol enabling communication for bigger distances, for example radio modem.

INFORMATION SERVICE

Information received from building automation and protection systems are analyzed according to patterns defined by system administrator. In dependence on defined conditions there are undertaken automatic activities that have a purpose to correct a problem (in situations, when such operations performance is possible and purposeful), system operators and responsible services informing . OpenEye/BMS system usually doesn't interfere in external systems with huge influence on security (like for example fire protection systems), solely monitors by making accessible by them information. All data flowing from environment after filtering and formatting are collected within relation data base, being a material to later analysis and reports. Data can be collected also from external mediation systems as integration by the usage of API.
Within the simplest configuration whole system can be installed within single machine. However within implementations demanding increased reliability and efficiency, each individual sub-system can operate within dedicated machine. There is also a possibility of gradual rebuilding, enabling - by adding resources functionality - to multiply particular sub-systems and carrying them o the separate, specialized machines without a necessity of other concept system changes.

VISUALIZATION

Monitored and managed resources presented by operators' consoles as graph maps reflecting real building's rooms arrangement. Flexible configuration possibilities enable to observe environment within different detail levels and within different aspects. Thanks to considered organization, that is sights that compose maps, operator can move among them. Background graphics for particular sights (rooms, floors, building parts) can be created from the basis or imported from architectural plans - if they are accessible in electronic form. Big system's advantage is vector formats appliance possibility, that possess better usage qualities. Changes happening within environment are presented as communicative graph events within maps as message containing detailed text description and event's attributes. Thanks to it operator informed about everything require his attention, in fast and clear way, having easy particular information access.

OPERATORS

System possesses operators authorization flexible possibilities. Their rights are defined by groups as profiles enabling to particularly describe what operations can be performed by particular operators groups, what kind of information can be accepted and what kind of resources should be seen for them. Thanks to it different profiles operators can observe completely different managed environment aspects using graph maps strictly applied to their necessities. It is also possible competence groups creation for different domains specialists responsible for particular building management particular domains, like automation systems, access control, extraordinary situations monitoring. In order to ensure sufficient security level, system access is protected by individual password of each operator. Moreover all service activities are performed within system are audited, thanks to it , in relation to historical data of managed environment , it is possible detailed and chronological events course in exceptional situations.

AUTOMATIC NOTICING

In damage or intervention demanding situations of specialist units, OpenEye/BMS system can automatically notice suitable internal and external services. Basic solution is making system with configurated profile enabling to observe only chosen, critical information without necessity of any system's modification. In order to ensure critical information attainability to the mobile users or possessing limited communication possibilities, there are accessible noticing mechanisms by the electronic post, pager and short text messages. Pre-configurated information sent by the management system automatically just after alarm appearance. Other communication media for automatic noticing purposes can be integrated by the usage of API. API integration interface enables also sending critical information to the external strange fast reaction system, enabling to fulfill more complex requirements concerning data range and access.
